Home Safety Evaluations

howardphoneComprehensive Therapy Center is ready to help family and caregivers with our Home Safety, Health and Happiness program which will assist individuals to maintain independence on their own.

Families usually want to help keep an extended family member in their own homes -and independent. Families need to understand how to make the home safe from falling hazards and user friendly for the senior resident. Our therapists can help identity and eliminate hazards which might cause accidents and make simple suggestions that may enhance activities of daily living.

Occupational and Physical Therapists are able to make suggestions which might help parents avoid loss of independence within their own homes. It’s a simple thing we can do … a friendly visit at the home or apartment – an hour or so with the family group – and then a follow-up conference with written, easy to follow suggestions.

To schedule an appointment for our visit, please call (616) 559-1054.
