Special Education Services
Comprehensive Therapy Center provides special education services to students across West Michigan. Our therapists seamlessly enter your school and work with your staff helping students to walk, talk, learn, and play – so they can succeed in school.
Our professional staff includes:
- speech-language pathologists,
- occupational therapists,
- school social workers,
- school psychologists, and
- special education teachers.
Resource room teachers and tutoring are also available.
During each school year our therapists work in schools, serving over 300 special education students. We help these students gain the skills necessary for school success in all activities be it the classroom or the playground.
All of the therapy and services we provide to children are focused on developing the building blocks for academic success: health and physical development, emotional and social well-being, a positive approach to learning, communication skills, and cognitive development. In 2009, the agency was awarded The Service to Children Award from the Child and Family Resource Council.
