About Our Speakers

Christopher Andrus is a distinguished philanthropist and the co-owner of The Mitten Brewing Company, a microbrewery and restaurant with three locations around Michigan. He is also the founder of Mitten Foundation, Inc. Chris is a keynote speaker and panelist who regularly instructs on entrepreneurship and philanthropy. In 2020 he wrote and published a book, titled Dough Nation: How Pizza (And Small Business) Can Change The World, about the power that small businesses have to help better their community.

Summer Wright is the Executive Director of Comprehensive Therapy Center. Summer has been working in the non-profit world for 20 years, volunteering and working for many non-profits including including a university grant-funded first-generation scholars’ program, a community garden, half a dozen schools, community theaters in two states, several arts organizations, and more. Summer has been with CTC for about 14 years, working her way up to becoming Executive Director in 2021. She’s an advocate for neurodiversity, having ADHD herself, and loves getting to support others in being the best they can be, regardless of ability.
