KISD Special Education with Kirsten Meyers – Therapy & Fun Caregiver Workshop

Kirsten Meyers is the Director of Special Education for Kent ISD. At this workshop, learn about special education for your child, IEPs and more.

The Therapy & Fun Caregiver Workshops are free seminars where parents and caretakers receive education and resources that empower them to support their child’s growth at home. Topics covered that these workshops include at-home therapeutic techniques, special education policies, mental health for parents, financial planning and more.  These topics are presented by our staff and experts in the field who want to help families and caregivers cultivate a successful and confident plan to care for themselves and their loved ones.

Caregiver workshops are free and open to the public, regardless of if you’re participating in the Therapy & Fun summer program.
