Want to support us by eating food? On August 28th, any food ordered at Red Robin, located on 3195 28th St, Kentwood, MI, Comprehensive Therapy Center will receive 20% of the fundraiser sales for that day.
As a therapy center, we provide a wide range of services, from speech-language to occupational and family coaching. Look at our various services below.
Speech-Language Pathology
Our speech therapists can provide evaluations of speech, language, voice, alternative communication (like picture symbols or computer systems), and some oral motor or feeding concerns.
Occupation is work and a child’s work is play. Our occupational therapists can provide evaluations of fine and gross motor skills, the ability to perform functional tasks (feeding yourself, dressing yourself, handwriting, etc.), and sensory needs.
Our counselors and social workers are here to help with all of your social and emotional support needs that can go hand-in-hand with neurodiversity, including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, trauma, or social skills.
Physical Therapy is looking for and working on things like how well an individual moves and what we can do to improve function and mobility, while addressing sensory limitations to mobility.
During swallowing and rest posture, the tongue may contribute to an unwanted movement of the teeth. The habit of resting the tongue between the teeth is commonly referred to as “tongue thrust.”
Full Circle Family Coaching is dedicated one-on-one time that allows parents and caregivers to meet with our therapists without the child present to help build a bridge between what happens in therapy and what happens at home.
Sensory therapy may be helpful if your child struggles in the following areas: movement and balance, self-feedback, visual impairment, and response to noises.
