Established in 1982, Comprehensive Therapy Center’s mission is to meet the therapeutic and educational needs of adults and children with disabilities who are at-risk or disadvantaged, through skill building, academic enhancement and social emotional support. - Special Education Team, CTC Staff, Parents of School-Aged Children

Job Summary
Provides psycho-educational evaluation, consultation, and intervention planning in accordance with state laws, Michigan Department of Education requirements, and professional standards across one or more assigned settings, including contracted school districts and CTC’s programs. Conducts evaluations, develops recommendations, and provides consultation and intervention planning to support access to curriculum, participation, behavior, and learning. Collaborates with caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to support consistent strategies across environments. Maintains competence through continuing education and development. Completes documentation on time and meets all regulatory, payer, and compliance requirements while upholding CTC’s mission.
Job Functions
1. Assessment
a. Determine evaluation needs based on referral, program requirements, and
observed concerns.
b. Conduct assessments using appropriate tools and procedures.
c. Gather relevant background, including interview and medical history.
d. Analyze findings and develop clear conclusions, recommendations, and goals.
e. Re-evaluate client status and update plans as needed.
2. Documentation & Reporting
a. Complete documentation and reports accurately and on schedule.
b. Use clear, reader-friendly language.
c. Maintain required paperwork for assessments, plans, progress, and discharge.
d. Submit and route documents according to IEP/MET systems, program and/or agency requirements.
3. Communication & Collaboration
a. b. Communicate regularly with caregivers, staff, and multidisciplinary team members.
Provide education about client needs, therapeutic strategies, and progress.c. Participate in meetings, case discussions, and planning processes, as appropriate.
d. Communicate changes in services or scheduling to all relevant parties.
4. Other Responsibilities:
a. Rules & Regulations: Follow CTC policies and all regulatory requirements.
Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time. Take accountability for quality.
b. Time & Data Management: Maintain accurate availability. Complete
documentation correctly and promptly. Prioritize and manage workload effectively.

Job Qualifications
1. Michigan psychologist license or Michigan School Psychologist approval
2. Reliable transportation to work sites.
