Therapy & Fun

Therapy & Fun is a seven-week summer program set up similar to a day camp. Children ages 3-10 with a range of disabilities attend three days a week and participate in activities facilitated by our therapists (speech, occupational, and mental health) and peer-to-peer volunteers. Activities include games, crafts, music, and more. Over the summer, clients can build their speech, motor, and social skills so they can be prepared for the school year ahead.

Therapy & Life Skills

Are your kids slightly older? We have Therapy & Life Skills for our older kids who are 10-14 years old. Click the button to learn more about it!

FUNdational Builders

Join our community of FUNdation Builders by sponsoring a child for one season of Therapy & Fun! Cost can be prohibitive for some families, but your sponsorship builds the foundation needed to create access to therapies for children who would otherwise go without.

2025 Program Impact

In 2025, our Therapy & Fun summer day camp proudly served 42 children. Across our combined summer camp and life skills programs:

  • Caregiver Priorities: 78% of parents/guardians listed “Making New Friends or Increasing Social Skills” as a top priority for their child, and 64% focused on improving speech skills.
  • Primary Language Spoken at Home: 95% English and 5% Spanish.
  • Communication Accessibility: 24% of participants are AAC users, with 16% using AAC as their primary method of communication.

Many of our families are below the poverty line, with exacerbated financial hardships due to having a family member with a disability. Some families qualify to have Therapy & Fun covered under insurance, but for those who don’t, we can keep the cost to $1500 out-of-pocket on average. Your donation of $1500 would allow us to lower the price for one family in need.

FUNdation Builders get access to exclusive updates, success stories, and gratitude videos from sponsored children, a Therapy & Fun shirt, and an opportunity to be a part of our final day celebration!
