Amway grant for Therapy & Fun approved!

We are honored once again to receive a grant from the Amway One by One Campaign for Children! 
“Through One by One, our corporation, employees and Amway Business Owners are working to provide hope and opportunity to children in need around the world – over 10 million since the program was launched in 2003. We believe this gift will make a meaningful difference in these efforts,” Michelle Meulendyk, Community Relations Specialist for Amway, said in a congratulatory letter to CTC.
The $15,000 award will go toward funding our award-winning Therapy & Fun summer clinic. This is great news because more than 90% of the children enrolled in Therapy and Fun are from low-income families, un- or under-insured, or on government supported health care programs. We have a scholarship fund and a sliding scale for families, and Amway’s grant will help us bring much-needed therapies to individuals who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford them.
We have been annual recipients of this award since 2006, and every year we are grateful for the funding to help make Therapy & Fun a truly great summer program. Thanks, Amway!
