We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. Today, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.
We at CTC will be sharing a bunch of #unselfie pictures of families and volunteers who not only give presents to their loved ones during the holiday season, but give time and energy and money to causes that make their communities better places to live. If you want to give a thoughtful gift this year, consider giving your loved ones an honorarium  — a monetary gift to CTC in their name. You can pick an amount that is equal to a certain bit of equipment or a number of hours of therapy, and we will send your recipient a card with an example of what your money can do to help fund our agency. We are very lucky this year to have matching funds for all of our Giving Tuesday efforts donated by Lake Michigan Credit Union, which makes every dollar donated have double the impact.
